As a network of governmental policy banks, the Global Network of Export-Import Banks and Development Finance Institutions (G-NEXID) is a not-for profit association created in 2006 with the support of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Its mission statement is as follows: to facilitate cooperation among export-import banks and development finance institutions in support of South-South trade, investment and project finance.
