The Parties to the Aarhus Convention and Parties to the Protocol on Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers (PRTRs) are meeting from 18 to 22 October 2021. Marking the 20th anniversary of the entry into force of the Aarhus Convention, this session will provide a multi-stakeholder platform "to discuss the challenges in promoting environmental democracy, digital transformation, and sustainable development." On 11 May 2021, to mark the 150th anniversary of the Central Tracing Agency (CTA), the ICRC and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) organize the high-level online discussion "Transforming the global response for missing persons" with the participation of Ignazio Cassis, Federal Councilor, and head of the FDFA and Peter Maurer, President of the ICRC.
