IAS – the International AIDS Society – convenes, educates and advocates for a world in which HIV no longer presents a threat to public health and individual well-being. After the emergence of HIV and AIDS, concerned scientists created the IAS to bring together experts from across the world and disciplines to promote a concerted HIV response. Today, the IAS and its members unite scientists, policy makers and activists to galvanize the scientific response, build global solidarity and enhance human dignity for all those living with and affected by HIV.

Our goal is to increase access to quality, safe, efficacious, more appropriate and affordable medicines, focussing on HIV/AIDS. We do this by negotiating with patent holders to share their intellectual property with the Pool, and then licensing it to other producers to facilitate the production of affordable generic medicines well-adapted for use in resource-poor settings."

Enfants du Monde is a Swiss charitable organization and has been providing a quality education and access to health services for disadvantaged children and mothers in the poorest parts of the world for nearly 50 years. Enfants du Monde manages projects in the priority fields of education, health, and training in the following countries: Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Salvador, Niger, Guatemala, Haiti and Chad. More than 382,500 children and their families benefit from these projects.

We are co-convener of the Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator diagnostics pillar, and a WHO Collaborating Centre for Laboratory Strengthening and Diagnostic Technology Evaluation.
