What is going on this summer at the Archives of the UN in Geneva?
Lots of things! This summer is particularly busy.
As during every summer for the last few years, we've had a growing influx of researchers from around the world who take advantage of the university holidays to come to do their research in the historical archives of the League of Nations and the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG).

I am keeping the Reform process moving forward at the ILO.
What are your holiday plans?
I am planning to go to Provence, in the South of France. On the agenda: sunshine, family and tranquillity.
What do take the opportunity to do in Geneva during the summer?
I especially enjoy the long warm evenings: reading and swimming.

The scent of pine and jacaranda.

Transatlantic ships in Genova harbour; and the emotion when they leave.
Your best holiday memories?
Beach family holidays in Italy. Notably the ride from the station to the hotel in a Fiat 500, three suitcases on the roof and four people squeezed inside, driver not included.
Your worst holiday memories?
Being sea sick.
