"Der Dänische Flüchtlingsrat (DRC) ist eine humanitäre, nicht kommerzielle Nichtregierungsorganisation, die 1956 gegründet wurde und in mehr als 30 Ländern auf der ganzen Welt tätig ist. In Konfliktgebieten weltweit leistet der DRC direkte Hilfe für konfliktbetroffene Bevölkerungsgruppen wie Flüchtlinge und intern Vertriebene (internally displaced people IDPs) sowie die aufnehmenden Gesellschaften. Ausserdem setzt er sich auf internationaler Ebene und in Dänemark für konfliktbetroffene Bevölkerungsgruppen ein.
