Summer interview 2012 – Doris Schopper, Director of CERAH, the Centre for Education and Research in Humanitarian Action
July 2012   What's going on at CERAH this summer? As we undertook quite an ambitious reform of the whole training offer at CERAH, we will dedicate the summer months mainly to finalise the teaching programme of the Diploma in Humanitarian Action starting in September. We will also continue to prepare the six Certificates in Humanitarian Action we are going to propose in the spring semester 2013.

Teaser On 23 February 2023, the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, known as the Declaration of Geneva, is 100 years old. This anniversary is the occasion to announce that the International Museum of the Reformation will present, from 27 April to 27 August, the exhibition "Déflagrations: more than a century of children's drawings in wars and mass crimes."  The exhibition will bring together more than 150 drawings by children who have witnessed, been victims of, and acted in armed conflicts from the First World War to the present day.

Tool to strengthen synergies and improve coordination to support Member States in achieving the SDGs The UN Office at Geneva has mapped out the expertise on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) found across international organizations, NGOs and other institutions based in Geneva. This has been envisioned as a tool to help strengthen synergies, improve coordination to support countries achieve the SDG and provide Member States an overview of “who is doing what and where”. Over 75 organizations participated in the initial mapping exercise.
