Framework Convention Alliance for Tobacco Control - FCA
"The FCA was created in 1999 and formally established in 2003. It is made up of over 350 organizations from more than 100 countries. The Alliance works on the development, ratification and implementation of the international treaty, the World Health Organization's (WHO) Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC). The WHO FCTC is the world's first modern-day global public health treaty, and requires parties to adopt a comprehensive range of measures designed to prevent and reduce the devastating health, social, environmental and economic consequences of tobacco. FCA also advocates for global tobacco control to become an international health and development priority."
