The Grand Morillon Student Residence virtual inauguration | 23 February 2021

The Graduate Institute invites you on 23 February to participate to the virtual inauguration of the Grand Morillon Student Residence, designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.

Welcome message and address by Rolf Soiron, President of the Foundation Board, and Marie-Laure Salles, Director, a 15-minute film will be played, including:

  • Philippe Burrin, former Director of the Institute, who will retrace the project's history
  • Kengo Kuma, who will discuss the architectural concept
  • Pierre Guth, Director of Construction, who will present the residence's space

The Grand Morillon Student Residence has 678 beds (many of which are found in individual studios), which will be primaly reserved for students of the Graduate Institute.

The Residence offers exceptional living conditions in which the habitation and common areas combine harmoniously.
